My Mother

I'm proud of you my mother
For your unconditional love
And for your bravery
For you struggled forever
With many hardships
Bare feet and half nude
Wrapping inside rags
Covering me with your body
Both in the sun and shower
While you yourself
Was empty belly starving
You let me suck your breast
And you became substance
To save me, to give me life.

I am proud of you mother
For you did not care
Flame of burning fire
Nor you cared roaring flood
In every disaster
You stuck me on your bossom
While you're wounded
With several attacks yourself
You smiled sipping tears before they came
You substituted your happiness
With our pain
And cried a lot behind curtains
To make us smile.

My mother....!
No heaven I have ever seen
Other than your lap
No much peace I have experiencd
As much I fell into your arms
Your warm breath
Your carressing hands
Your loving voice
Makes me feel I am hero
The heroic son of brave woman
Set off carrying a mighty pen
To change the world.
